Greyhound Thermal Imaging at Dunham Greyhound Centre |

Veterinary Thermal Imaging run regular clinics at the Dunham Greyhound Centre, near Retford in Nottinghamshire. Regular screening of your greyhound can aid in the detection of injury up to three weeks before symptons become apparent. The greyhound below has distinctive temperature patterns on the fore legs indicative of nerve damage. Treatment was administered successfully and the greyhound's performance increased dramatically. More information about greyhound scanning or the use of infrared thermal imaging cameras can be found on our greyhound page.

The next clinic is on 16th April, starting at 10 am until Midday and will be run by our East Midlands based Veterinary Thermographer - Cathryn Last.
Prices start from £20 per greyhound and are taken using our state of the art FLIR Veterinary Thermal Imaging Camera capable of producing high-definition infrared thermal images.

FLIR Launch E60bx Animal and Equine Thermography Camera |

FLIR have just launched the E60bx Veterinary Thermal Imaging camera, the newest thermal imaging camera suitable for veterinary thermography. The E60bx is equipped with a with a state-of-the-art uncooled Vanadium Oxide microbolometer detector capable of producing thermal images with 320 x 240 pixels (over 76,000 individual temperature measurements). The detector can measure a temperature difference of less than 0.045oC (NETD), far more than the 0.3oC necessary for identifying thermal assymetry overlying significant pathology. Images are beautifully displayed on a crystal clear 3.5" LCD touch screen, or can be transmitted to a smartphone or tablet PC using WiFi.
